Police are looking for a group of six men who allegedly assaulted a man in Sydney’s CBD, leaving him with horrific brain injuries.
Emergency services rushed to the corner of George Street and Liverpool Street around 2:10 a.m. Monday after reports of an attack.
Sydney City Police Area Command officers were told that a 25-year-old man was involved in a physical altercation with six men.
The man did not know the group that allegedly attacked him.

He was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital with a skull fracture and a brain hemorrhage, where he remains in critical condition.
Police have since released footage showing the men fleeing the Kent Street scene in a Blue Holden Commodore.
Images have been released of the men police believe were involved in the incident, as officers set up Strike Force Stockdale to investigate.
All men are described as having an Indian subcontinental appearance.
Police have described the first man as 180cm to 185cm tall, sturdily built, with facial and short black hair.

He wore a blue puffer jacket, a blue and red ‘Ellesse’ shirt, and jeans.
The second man is about 180cm to 185cm tall, solidly built, with facial and short black hair, and wearing a light-colored hoodie sweater and dark track pants.
The third man is about 170cm to 175cm tall, of medium build, with closely trimmed facial hair and short black hair, with a tattoo on the nape of the back.
He wore jeans, a light-colored shirt, and a light-colored puffer jacket with the “Puma” logo.
Police say the fourth man is 170 to 175 cm tall, of average build, with facial and short black hair combed to one side.
He was wearing sweatpants, black sandals, and a light-colored zip-up sweater.

The fifth man was also about 170 cm tall and of average build, with facial hair and short black hair. He was wearing black thongs at the time.
According to police, the last man is between 170 and 175 cm tall and shorter in build, with short black hair, a dark puffer jacket, and light jeans.
